Kingston Symphony Orchestra The Kingston Symphony Orchestra is a professional orchestra employing approximately fifty-five musicians, many of whom have chosen to live in Kingston because of the performance opportunities the orchestra provides.
The Grand Theatre The Grand Theatre - now in the midst of reconstruction - is Kingston's community performing arts facility. Purchased by the City of Kingston in 1962, the theatre houses two performance spaces. The building has two licensed lounges, a licensed patio and an art gallery where local artists display their work.
The Melos Choral Ensemble Melos is a mixed-voice community choir performing classical choral music in four concerts per year at Kingston cathedrals and churches, including major choral works with a professional orchestra and soloists.
