Association franco-yukonnaise Together with its partners, AFY, the organization that speaks for the Francophone community in the Yukon, ensures the creation and development of the services, activities and institutions that are necessary for the community to reach its full potential. AFY is responsible for political representation to governments to ensure that they fulfill their obligations to Francophones. The Association promotes cooperation and collaboration with community stakeholders.
Cross Country Yukon Cross Country Yukon is the Sport Governing Body for cross country skiing in the Yukon, with affiliate clubs in the Whitehorse area and rural communities such as Old Crow, Mount Lorne, Marsh Lake and other potential clubs.
Kayak Yukon YCKC actively promotes the sport of canoeing and kayaking in the Yukon. Not only does the club organize events like the annual Whitehorse Whitewater Rodeo, it also has a youth kayaking program and is in the process of establishing an urban whitewater recreational park (along with the Yukon Energy Corporation, City of Whitehorse and other organizations).
Miles Canyon Historical Railway Society To promote the construction and operation of an historic railway in the City of Whitehorse and enhance the preservation and restoration of railway transportation history and artifacts.
Sport Yukon Sport Yukon is a non-profit society run by a volunteer board of directors. It's member organizations are territorial sport governing bodies, clubs and associations who offer a variety of sport, recreation and other community based programs.
The Whitehorse Glacier Bears Swim Club The Whitehorse Glacier Bears Swim Club is a strong competitive swimming club with a good age group foundation. All age group 'Bears' programs run from September to early June. Learning new skills, training hard, and having fun while recognizing the uniqueness of each swimmer are the cornerstones of our competitive swimming program. We develop the four competitive strokes, dive starts, turns, and pace.
The Klondike Snowmobile Association The Klondike Snowmobile Association is a volunteer, non-profit organization formed in 1981 and incorporated in 1984 to represent snowmobilers in the Yukon Territory. Its mission is to "protect, develop and enhance the sport and recreation of snowmobiling in the Yukon.
Whitehorse Community Choir The Whitehorse Community Choir is the largest mixed chorus north of the 60th Parallel in Canada.
Whitehorse Curling The Yukon Curling Association is a non-profit sport organization formed in 1990 with the amalgamation of the Yukon Ladies Curling Association and the former Yukon Curling Association.
