Freeman Patterson Freeman Patterson lives at Shamper's Bluff, New Brunswick, near his childhood home. He attended multi-grade (one-room) schools in Grey's Mills and Long Reach, and high school at Macdonald Consolidated School in Kingston.
Joan Hall Hovey As well as penning suspense novels, Joan Hall Hovey's articles and short stories have appeared in such diverse publications as The Reader, Atlantic Advocate, The Toronto Star, Mystery Scene, True Confessions, Home Life magazine, Seek and various other magazines and newspapers. Her short story, Dark Reunion was selected for the Anthology, Investigating Women, published by Simon & Pierre, edited by David Skene-Melvin.
New Brunswick Arts Board The New Brunswick Arts Board is an arm’s length arts funding agency with a legislated mandate to facilitate and promote the creation of art as well as administering funding programs for professional artists in the province.
Peter & Beth Powning Since 1970, Peter Powning has lived and worked as an artist in the hills of southern New Brunswick. His life is characterized by intense periods of work preparing for exhibitions and commissions, punctuated by periodic travel. Beth Powning's latest novel, The Sea Captain's Wife, is published by Knopf (Canada) and Penguin/Plume (USA). It was short-listed for the Thomas Head Raddall Atlantic Fiction Award, in Canada; and is a Barnes and Noble Discover Award Book for May/July, in the USA.

Fundy Trail Parkway The Fundy Trail opens up previously unreachable areas of the Bay of Fundy coastline and panoramic views. The 16 km (10 miles) trail begins just outside St. Martins, New Brunswick and is less than an hour’s drive from Saint John or Sussex on Route 111.
Harbour Station After much discussion and consideration, the Saint John Regional Exhibition Center was dubbed Harbour Station. The name denotes the history and geography of the site and is a comfortable connotation of a place where people gather. The name has come to be recognized nationally and internationally as a proud symbol of Greater Saint John.
