Garbage & Recycling The Metro Vancouver coordinates the long-range planning process for recycling and disposing of solid waste in the Lower Mainland. Metro Vancouver also funds and operates the transfer stations, incinerator and landfills that make up what's known as an integrated waste management process and they also help coordinate the operations of member municipalities.
Water Works The Water Services Department provides clean, safe drinking water through its member municipalities for over 2.4 million residents in the Lower Mainland.
