The public library system is more than just a place to borrow books. It’s a centre of activity for you to explore. A visit to the library will reveal a lot about your new community.

Community centres are a great place to meet new people. They have programs for your kids and yourself and helps you stay in touch with all aspects of your new neighbourhood.

Get to know your local libraries, community centres and schools. If you have kids, these resources are your lifelines. No kids? You can probably skip the schools.
