Evans Theatre The Evans Theatre film programme is presented by the volunteers of the Brandon Film Festival, Inc. We get a great deal of support from TIFF’s Film Circuit program.
Films show at the Evans on most weekends between September and April.
Brandon Flying Club The Brandon Flying Club was established on November 28,1936. It is a Not for Profit Corporation and was originally named, the Brandon-Virden Flying Club. Presently the Brandon Flying Club has a Membership of over 260 male and female Members and the Club is lucky to have over 20 Life Time Members, as they share with everyone their love and great enthusiasm of flying, along with many a colourful story of the history of events of the Brandon Flying Club.
Brandon Jazz Festival Originating in 1983, the Brandon Jazz Festival is an annual non-competitive event held in March of every year on the campus of Brandon University. It is an educational forum where young musicians come to perform for adjudicators and receive written, taped and verbal feedback on their playing and singing. Our adjudicators are top of the line professional musicians as well as educators from across Canada and the United States.

Water Ski – Wakeboard Manitoba Water Ski - Wakeboard Manitoba is a non-profit organization promoting the sport of water skiing and wakeboarding throughout Manitoba.
Brandon YMCA The YMCA of Brandon first began in Brandon in 1886. Our first YMCA building was built in 1905. The second YMCA facility was built in 1966, operating until August, 2013. In November of 2007, the YMCA Board of Directors announced plans to build a new YMCA for Brandon and area. The new Dood Cristall Family YMCA opened August 26, 2013.
Moncur Gallery Education is the primary goal of the Gallery, the self-guiding layout welcomes those who prefer to wander through at their own pace. Visitors can arrange for guided tours. Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum The museum is staffed mainly by volunteers and funding is mainly through donations and admissions. This is the only museum, in the world, dedicated solely to those who trained under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan, who fought, and of course, who gave their lives in the air war from 1939 to 1945. At the time the Plan was signed in December 1939, Canada had only 4,000 people in the Royal Canadian Air Force but it reached 250,000 by the end of 1943. Aircrew personnel from Australia, New Zealand, England and Canada were all trained under The Plan.
Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame The Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame was established in 1976, with its objective being to acknowledge persons who have made a significant and outstanding contribution to the welfare and improvement of Manitoba agriculture and to a better way of life for farm families.
