Medicare New Brunswick
To be eligible for New Brunswick Medicare coverage you must be a Canadian citizen or be legally entitled to remain in Canada; have a permanent residence in New Brunswick, and; physically reside in New Brunswick for at least six months (183 days - consecutive or not) during a 12 month period. Maintaining a dwelling, owning property in the province of New Brunswick or paying New Brunswick property or income tax does not mean you are eligible for insured physician or hospital services under the New Brunswick Medicare Plan.

South-East Regional Health Authority
The Authority operates eight facilities throughout southeastern New Brunswick including hospitals, health centers, an addiction center, and a women's wellness center. Because of the tertiary and other specialized services offered, patients are regularly referred from other parts of New Brunswick, northern Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
