Emrush Inc. is a small, family-owned company, whose principals, Michael and Miranda Rushby formerly resided in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where they acquired three downtown properties, comprising a diverse mix of fifteen townhouse / apartment units.

Since the purchase in 2000, the family has relocated to Ottawa, but elected to retain ownership of the properties, fortunately being able to prevail upon friends who were willing and able to maintain a “personal” style of management, which the owners consider to be essential to the success of a small business.

“Small” and “personal” are the keywords to the Emrush philosophy. We seek to establish close relationships with the important people – our clients and the contractors or service providers who ensure that the needs of both tenants and owners are met promptly and efficiently and, most importantly, that our tenants are not disadvantaged by what we term “absentee landlord syndrome”.

We recognize that rental accommodation is, for most people, a temporary phase in their lives but, what we seek to achieve in our relationship with our tenants, for however short or a long a period that may be, is that we may provide you with an apartment that you will be happy to call home, both in terms of the quality of the facility and the service which accompanies it.

Emrush is represented in Fredericton by two people who orchestrate viewings, lettings and renewals and by a third person coordinating the maintenance of the properties. In addition, each tenant is provided with a list of contractors who will provide call-out service, if necessary.

An outline of our property portfolio accompanies this introduction to Emrush – the availability of each unit is indicated by the date of expiry of the current lease, although discounting the prospect of renewal by the incumbent tenant(s). This information will be up-dated frequently.
